About

Hi! I’m Michael Kihanya — traveler, entrepreneur, neuroscientist, and software developer. I’ve lived around the world, learning by doing: teaching myself software development, building products, and exploring entrepreneurship hands-on.

I’m currently a UX Research & Analytics Intern at VerbMaster, where I combine behavioral science with user experience research to improve digital learning tools. With a background in neuroscience, I’m passionate about how people think, learn, and connect — whether through code, design, or community.

I’ve built Discord bots, designed search algorithms for music producers, and analyzed soccer match APIs for a football app. I also care about sustainable farming, meditation, and marketplaces that support creators and local economies.

A former elite athlete turned coder, I balance analytical rigor with creative expression — writing poetry, making music, and staying grounded through running and mindfulness. I’m always looking to build tech that serves people.
